There's always something happening in Ulster County, you just need to know where to look. One weekend it's a candlelight snowshoe trek in Hunter, the next it's a gallery walk in Kingston, then a bluegrass jam in Rosendale. The problem isn't a lack of events; it's finding them all in one place.
That's what this calendar is for. Every week, we round up what's happening across every corner of Ulster County — not just the usual suspects in Woodstock or Kingston, but Ellenville, Margaretville, Saugerties, Highland, and every town in between.
What You'll Find
Summer: The Vintage Festival at the Ulster County Fairgrounds (July 11–12), Rosendale Street Festival (July 18–19), the Ulster County Fair (August 4–9), the Woodstock Farm Festival, outdoor concerts at Twin Star Orchards, and kayak tours on the Rondout Creek.
Fall: The Woodstock-New Paltz Art & Crafts Fair (Labor Day weekend), foliage drives through the Rondout Valley, apple picking at Fishkill Farms, and harvest dinners at farm-to-table restaurants from Stone Ridge to Phoenicia.
Winter: Candlelight snowshoe trails at Hunter Mountain, ice climbing at the Trapps, February gallery nights in Kingston, and chili competitions in Rosendale.
Spring: Farmers markets reopening across the county (Kingston, Woodstock, New Paltz), the Korea Festival, and maple sugaring events.

The Rosendale Street Festival is one of my favorite weekends of the whole year. Glad its on here. Just a heads up that parking on Main Street fills up fast so get there early if you can.
pat_rondoutGood tip on parking. We usually leave the car over by the elementary school and walk in. Way less stressful than circling Main Street for an hour.
Finally someone including Ellenville in these roundups. Always feels like the southern end of the county gets forgotten. Appreciate it.
