Saugerties Lighthouse Summer Concert Series ReturnsThe Saugerties Lighthouse announces its 2026 summer concert series, running every Saturday from June 14 through August 9. This eight-week festival brings nationally recognized musicians to the historic 1869 landmark overlooking the Hudson River, drawing music lovers from across Ulster County and beyond.
2026 Lineup AnnouncedThe series opens June 14 with Travis Tritt performing country and Southern rock hits. Gates open at 5pm, show starts at 7pm. Tickets go on sale May 1 at saugertieslighthouseconcerts.com starting at $65. Other headliners include Blues Traveler on June 28, returning to the venue where they recorded their 1995 live album. 10,000 Maniacs perform July 12, featuring founding member Dennis Drew and new lead vocalist Mary Ramsey. The series closes August 9 with The Wailers performing Bob Marley's greatest hits.
Local opener Connor Kennedy & The Music from Woodstock performs before each headliner. The Saugerties High School jazz ensemblee opens the June 21 show featuring Spyro Gyra.
Venue and AmenitiesThe Saugerties Lighthouse sits on a 14-acre peninsula where the Esopus Creek meets the Hudson River. Concertgoers can explore the lighthouse museum before shows, open from 4pm-6pm on performance days. The Keepers House, built in 1869, displays maritime artifacts from Ulster County's shipping history.
Esopus Creek Pizza from Saugerties operates food trucks serving wood-fired pizzas using flour from Kingston's Hudson Valley Farmhouse. Awestruck Hard Cider from Ulster Park provides locally-made beverages, while Crossroads Brewing from Athens offers craft beer.
Attendees can bring blankets and low-back chairs for the lawn seating area. Limited chair rentals available for $10. Parking is free at the Saugerties Village Beach lot with shuttle service to the lighthouse grounds.
Community PartnershipA portion of proceeds benefits the Saugerties Lighthouse Conservancy, which maintains the structure and offers educational programs. Last year's series raised $45,000 for lighthouse restoration, including repairs to the 1940s-era Fresnel lens.
