Good to know City Roofing in Hurley has been around 51 years. My neighbor used them after the ice storm we had two winters ago and had nothing but good things to say. Family owned makes a difference around here, you actually get to talk to someone who cares.
City Roofing out of Hurley has been around forever. My parents used Dave back in the 90s and I called them when I needed my siding redone two years ago. Some things don't change and that's a good thing around here.

Curious why Stockade Roofing gets listed but there are basically no reviews to go on. "20+ year track record" and a toll-free number isn't really the same as actual customer feedback. Would have liked to see more before including them alongside the others.

I think they may have included them just to have a Kingston option since it's the county seat, but you're right that a toll-free number is not exactly a substitute for real reviews. I'd want to see at least a handful of verified customer experiences before calling anyone.
Used Sheeley Roofing last fall on our old farmhouse in Stone Ridge. The part about them recommending a repaint instead of full replacement is 100% accurate, they did the same for us and saved us a ton of money. Christian really does stay in touch throughout the whole job. Highly recommend.

Not sure why Stockade is on this list if there are no reviews to back them up. "Their website emphasizes quality" is not exactly a ringing endorsement. Would have been better to find a fifth company with actual customer feedback.
Used Sheeley Roofing last fall for our old farmhouse in Stone Ridge. They sent Christian out first to look things over and he was great about explaining what actually needed to be done vs what could wait. No pressure at all. Highly recommend them for anyone with an older home.
